Après. All. Day: Day Two Recap

Après. All. Day: Day Two Recap

Snow Machine day two, you bloody rippers! We have a sneaky suspicion there were a few Ferg Machine burgers and Ferg Peak pies making the rounds this morning after what was an INSANE first night at the main arena. So much fun was had and continue it shall. We’re excited to see all of you bright-eyed and bushy-tailed legends up the slopes today for another day of mountain antics and unmissable après. But first, let’s take a moment to relive the good vibes from day two 👇

Suns out, buns out! What better way to start the day than with an outrageous World Record attempt at The Remarkables? After a slight delay (thanks to the weather gods) well over 1,000 people stripped down to their bikinis, budgie smugglers, and Borat-style bathers (leaving little to the imagination) to attempt to crush the World Record for the most people down the mountain in swimwear! Although we can’t claim the big W (for now), we smashed our own record and had one hoot of a time doing it. There was no way the vibe was simmering down after that, it was piping HOT! Legends Zahn Walker, First Base, and Sweet Mix Kids kept the First Base stage pumping as did our fave kween, Jimi The Kween at the Diamond Deck. But our highlight has to be the mass snowball fight instigated by Peking Duk – how good?!

For those that didn’t want to get the fresh Euro tan lines out, Coronet Peak was the place to be. An absolute bluebird day with plenty of memorable moments. The Retro OOSC Stage kept things cool with Curtis Young and Loveless DJs spinning tunes all afternoon, while you all spun yarns. And the Après Chalet didn’t miss a beat with standout performances by Art Vs. Science and a lively jive-ly DJ Set by The Jungle Giants.

Now for the main arena – where do we even begin? Snow Machine day two, you guys know how to PARTAYYY! Holy! What an experience. It goes without saying the music last night was on fire, but that wasn’t the only thing. The secret rave cave AKA The Church was popping off. The VIP Lodge was mind-blowingly cool. And, there were plenty of antics teamed with a lil’ friendly competition at the Better Beer tent. Not to mention the epic food trucks and bars keeping us all fuelled for the night’s action.

First to the stage, and setting the tone for the evening was Jimi The Kween – SLAYING as always! The party continued with incredible performances by Jacoténe, Northeast Party House, and Set Mo, before the crowd absolutely sent it for Shapeshifter. Monarch went off (IYKYK). And if we didn’t think you could possibly give us any more energy, Hilltop Hoods took the stage, and WOW, that was some bigger than life shiz! Kate Fox finished with her bass-driven party drops that kept the vibe on point and led us perfectly into the afterparties at Snow Machine Saloon, The World Bar, Yonder, and SEEK. Bring on tonight!
