The Final Banger! Let’s Recap The Weekend

We’ll start by saying one thing, you guys are all the real MVPs. Five days, and four nights of incredible music, dancing table top en-piste, skiing, snowboarding, snowball fights, snow-shoeys, swimwear runs, ice baths, mountain-top saunas, bungy jumps, après-ski sessions, beers, banter and memories that will stick with us all for a lifetime. WHAT A WEEK!!! Thank  you all! Let’s round up the weekend and relive some of the final magical moments of Snow Machine 2023 👇

Saturday night, alright! Just when we thought things couldn’t get any better, the energy and the effort to pull through for the final night was 💯👌 Talk about backing it up! Local Queenstown DJ, Zahn Walker started the night by getting us all in the mood with his high energy, uplifting grooves. The energy continued when three-piece dance band, Art vs. Science took the stage with their fun and dance-inducing electronic beats. Throwing it back to ‘better days’, Aussie singer-songwriter Pete Murray was up next delivering his iconic mellow tunes with the sweet sound of his guitar. Then, Stace Cadet had no problems raising the tempo right back up with his dance music anthems and dance moves!

As expected, indie rock royalty, The Jungle Giants absolutely delivered with an explosive live performance that had all 6,000 of you moving. And then, sending out the festival out in absolute style, Hayden James delivered his electro-pop anthems. Music was played, Champagne was sprayed and it made for one hell of a final banger.

During the day we had some of our absolute favourites playing on-piste one final time! Broods, Coterie, Benee, Curtis Young and JACOTÉNE to name a few. What an insanely beautiful way to close the Après Stages at both mountains.  A MASSIVE thank you to our friends at Coronet Peak and The Remarkables.  It’s because of you Snow Machine is possible and we thank you eternally.

Sunday was a day for recovery for all. After a massive week partying and skiing, thank you to those that joined us final memory-making adventure to recover in style. On board the TSS Earnslaw Steamship we were serenaded by a pianist as we drank recovery wine in the *what was meant to be sunshine*. We were welcomed at Walter Peak High Country Farm with a gourmet long lunch FEAST and tunes by our special guest DJs. Such a lovely way to round out the week with old and new pals.

We’re sad to see you go, but we’re sure we’ll see you back. Until next time, Snow Machiners!

Snow Machine Japan

If you’re not ready to hang up your party pants and ski boots just yet, Snow Machine Japan is coming up in February 2024. See you there?!
