The countdown is on! In just a few days, we’ll be coming together for an unforgettable journey at Snow Machine Queenstown 2023!

As the excitement builds, we want to ensure you’re fully prepared to make the most of every moment during this epic week of alpine adventures, so we’ve put together a comprehensive guide with all the essential information you need to know before you hit the slopes.

IMPORTANT INFO

Your ID:
Please remember to carry approved identification if you want to purchase alcohol or enter licensed premises. Approved ID includes your passport (if you’re from a country other than New Zealand), a New Zealand driver’s licence, an existing Hospitality NZ 18+ Card, or a Kiwi Access Card.

An Australian driver’s licence is NOT an approved form of ID under the NZ Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act (the Law). So please carry your passport with you if you plan on having an alcoholic beverage.

Festival wristbands:
Package Holders: Collect your welcome pack & festival wristbands upon check-in to your accomodation, unless otherwise specified. You’ll also find your MyPass card (lift pass) in your welcome pack too. 

Ticket-only Holders: If you purchased a ticket-only, please head over to Snow Machine Guest Services at the Station Building (check the app for the location) to collect your wristband. If you purchased a lift pass or Mountain Bus Transfers in addition, then you also need to collect these from Guest Services at the Station Building

Cashless Event:
Snow Machine is a cashless event, so please remember to bring your credit/debit cards or ensure your phone is fully charged if you plan to use Apple/Google pay.

Water bottles:
We’ll have plenty of free water stations located around the Main Arena site, so please bring along an empty water bottle to use throughout the day. But no glass or metal bottles!

 

MAIN ARENA BUS TRANSFERS

Main Arena Bus Transfers will be available for anyone staying in town and along Frankton Road to the Main Arena on 7, 8 and 9 September.

Tickets are $20 per person for all three days (works out to only $6.66 per night) and will be available for purchase from two locations:
• Snow Machine Guest Services (Station Building in town)
• Snow Machine Store, 15 Church St

There will be four pick up/drop off points in Queenstown and along Frankton Road:
• Direct service to/from Queenstown Central (Athol Street) 
• Service to/from Holiday Inn Express, with two stops along Frankton Road (The Rees and Sherwood)

First buses depart at 3.45pm, running on a loop until 7pm to get you to the Main Arena.
Return buses available from 8.30pm to get you back into town for the afterparties

Have you pre-booked your Snow Machine rentals through our online store? Snow Machine has a number of rental partners, so make sure you check your confirmation email carefully and head to the correct store for pick-up!
PLEASE NOTE: Rentals are sold out in town so if you don’t have them booked yet, bring them from home!
