Located along Niseko’s main bus route, or a quick 10 minute walk to the town centre, Hirafu has plenty of affordable hotel room options available. As it’s located slightly further out of the main village, and away from the hustle and bustle, you’ll find this to be a peaceful stay! There are scheduled shuttle services that will drop you to the main ski lifts, allowing for a effortless stay during Snow Machine.

Niseko Village

Niseko Village is nestled between Hirafu and Annupuri, and is home to some of Niseko’s best hotels. Shuttle buses bring you to the main Hirafu centre to ensure you are ready for a day on the slopes. Although further out, both hotels in the area have everything you need from bars, restaurants and knowledgable staff to help with everything you need during your stay. 

Best choice for: One stop shop accommodation – everything you need in one place!

Upper Hirafu

Upper Hirafu is the most sought after accommodation in all of Niseko. The easiest access to all of the ski fields, and plenty options from apartments to hotels. There is a variety of shops, bars and restaurants, along with several onsens to relax before going to main arena in the evenings. Definitely a fan favourite area in Niseko!

Best choice for: being in the thick of it!

Lower Hirafu

Lower Hirafu offers peaceful chalets and good value housing options. This area is quieter than Upper Hirafu with the bonus and ease of having some of the best restaurants and bars dotted around the area. There is also the free shuttle bus that will connect you to the lifts.

Best choice for: quiet self contained accommodation with a group of friends

Izumikyo

Just a short walk to Hirafu village centre, Izumikyo has an abundance of lodges at an attractive price. The Hirafu shuttle buses drive through this area for easy access to and from the lifts. With many cafe’s and restaurants it is a perfect place to have a bit more peace and quiet at night. Just a short stroll the centre of the main village where you can enjoy Niseko’s nightlife before going to main arena.
