Iwatake

Iwatake provides a more traditional Japanese ski village experience - a busy resort during the day and a quiet town once the sun goes down. Affordable accommodation options within walking distance to the resort, and bus transfers included to get you to and from Main Arena. Iwatake resort boasts some of the best views in the valley (be sure to grab a coffee and scone at City Bakery Mountain Harbour). With great terrain for beginner and intermediate riders - along with one of our favourite Après Stages - Iwatake is a great day out for the whole squad. Most restaurants are on-mountain, so you’re best to head into Happo village for dinner/nightlife. There’s a great indoor onsen near the gondola base building “Iwatake no yu onsen”.
